Ontario Cycling Association announces Title Sponsor

Bonham and Company Ontario Cup Series
The Ontario Cycling Association is pleased to announce that Bonham & Company Asset Management will be the title sponsor for the 2002 Ontario Cup Mountain Bike Race Series. This sponsor will provide tremendous improvements to the marketing quality and consistency of Ontario's most popular mountain bike race series. This sponsorship will help us attract younger participants to the sport, add more of a festival atmosphere to the events, and provide more exposure for the retailers and distributors supporting the series.
We are pleased to announce that Chico Racing will manage the Bonham & Company Ontario Cup Series. This series will also have an official website located at www.chicoracing.com with online registration, and full series information, available in January. Steve Peat Signs with Orange
Steve Peat has signed a deal to ride Orange for 2002. Steve will not be a "full" team member, as he will maintain some autonomy by running his own program with his own set of sponsors.
All Female Mountain Bike Team
Luna Chix, an all female MTB team has officially announced the roster of riders for 2002. Heading up the squad will be World Champions Alison Dunlap, who was left high and dry after GT pulled out of racing. Team Luna Chix (named for the "Whole Nutrition Bar For Women" which is made by Clif Bar) will compete on the World Cup and NORBA circuits in 2002.
As well as an elite racing team, Luna Chix will consist of 2 groups of female MTB racers who will act as Luna ambassadors whose Luna Ambassadors, who will carry out the Luna Chix mission of raising funding, awareness and support for women's issues, including breast cancer and The Breast Cancer Fund.
