The 4th race of the Ontario Masters racing series took place Sunday morning (June 9) at the Beeton Circuit north of Tottenham Ontario. The 60k Road Race over the hilly course saw 8 riders break away from the pack to contest the up hill sprint finish.

Larry Arsenault from Paris, outsprinted the break to finish 1/2 a wheel ahead of Rob Good , Third place finisher Randy Brown, Elmor Brenton & John Parkinson all crossed the line together in a photo finish. A great time was had by all racers.

The next race is Sunday June 16, The Masters Club would like to invite all Riders (novice or experienced) over 40 years old to come out and race.

The June 16th 65km Handicap Road Race is at Inverhough Ontario, Located on Regional Road #21, 5km west of Elora just North of Guelph.

Registration 9:30am, Racing at 10:00am Sharp.

For all Guest Riders the Entry Fee is "FREE" we encourage you to come out
and have a Blast.

Detroit Madison Training

Riders Wanted !!!!!!

The New Rochester Hills Michigan Velodrome is looking for track racers interested in Madison racing this summer.

Friday night Madison racing starts July 5th, & will continue every Friday night through-out the summer.

Interested racers MUST attend the training sessions being held for the next 3 Friday Nights at 6pm.

The track is a smooth 200m, similar in design to the 1996 Olympic Velodrome
in Bromont.

Italian Festival Stella Artois Grand Prix
Sunday June 16/02

Course: 4 corner, 1.6 km, uphill to finish line (53 ring)
Distance: 100 km.
Start: 2:00 pm (might be up to * hr. later due to parades/other events on roads)
Location: Gladstone St. /Rochester St., Ottawa
Open event for Snr. 1,2, 3,4, Masters A
Prizes/Primes (approx. $3000 total value)
Entry Fee: $30
