The Tour de Moody Cycling Classic June 22nd/23rd
Lactic Acid Racing, the organizer of the June 22nd/23rd Tour de Moody, (located in the cities of Burnaby and Port Moody), would like to reassure all racers that this weekends race will be going on as scheduled. Online registration has continued to be up and has accepted registrations through the rumours.
The problem was an article was written by a local newspaper that stated (based on council's minutes) that only one stage had been approved. This was not the case however, as the Organizers and City Hall just needed extra time to reroute and approve the other stages of the race. Both, the City of Burnaby and the City of Port Moody, have been committed to the running of the Tour de Moody Cycling Classic since its inception.
Therefore...!..on behalf of Lactic Acid Racing, we would like to invite all racers to the inaugural Tour de Moody Cycling Classic on June 22nd/23rd. Online registration, course routes, stages etc..can be found online at www.karelo.com For more information contact Jeff Tvergyak at tourdemoody@hotmail.com

Races for all categories
Total Prize list: over $4500
This will be the biggest bicycle road race in Canada this year!
This July show your strength and endurance! Race the largest, most difficult cycling road race in Canada this year!
Join more than 700 racers from Canada and the United States in this year's Ottawa Bicycle Club Grand Prix, a sanctioned Ontario O-Cup series race and a Quebec Veteran's Association Super Prestige event.
Expect this to be the most challenging one-day race in Canada this year!
The race course meanders through beautiful forest-lined roads and features several long, steep hills that will test the strength of every cyclist. Only the truly strongest rider will win!
The Venue
The Gatineau Parkway is a 21 km loop with an excellent road surface. The loop will be closed to motor traffic for the event. Since 1971, at least 3 national road championships have been held on this circuit. Independent observers have described it as having the best road scenery of any place to ride in Canada. Some very experienced riders call this the most difficult bike race course in North America.
