Edmonton Weekly Race Series

The last event of the Edmonton Inter Club Race Series #2 took place on Tue. with a criterium. The race brought out almost 40 riders to the always exciting Alberta Research Park course located in South Edmonton Common. The weather in Edmonton has been in the thirties all week and Tues. was no exception as the mercury hit 32 C. The heat did keep some riders at home who felt that they needed more than sunscreen to protect there pale Edmontonian bodies. Those who did attend were treated to 45 min + 3 laps of suffering in the prairie sun, some even went home with smiles. The results were as follows:

This concludes Series #2 which was hosted by PEDALHEAD ROAD WORKS. Thank-you to all riders who came out and to all the volunteers that made the races safe and enjoyable for all. The next series will be hosted by ERTC. There will be schedule changes for the next series, so please call any of the host clubs or log onto pedalheadroadworks.com. I will post a revised schedule as more information is available, so please be patient as we make some necessary changes to help keep these races safe for all. An overall points schedule will also be posted as it becomes available.
