Downhill, X-Country, Try an O-Cup, and Pro Short Track .... the weekend of September 7 & 8 will have it all at Kelso Conservation Area in Milton. The final 'big' race of the season will put rider's fitness and skills to the test at one of Ontario's classic race venues.
Our title sponsor, Mark Bonham, has generously sponsored a barbeque for racers and supporters on Sunday from 3:00 pm - 5:30 pm. Sunday's competitors will receive a ticket for themselves, as well as a guest. This is to thank riders for putting up with the first 'nasty' all-weather challenge of the season (Pleasure Valley).
Saturday's Pro Short Track Race at 12:30 pm will see a prize money boost thanks to our title sponsor Bonham & Co. 1st $500, 2nd $300, 3rd $200. The short track is free and open to all riders with one class. Come watch the FAST & THE FURIOUS duke it out for Ontario's best mountain bike cash payout!
Saturday will also showcase the citizen Try an Ocup x-country event at 1:00 pm with the downhill race also starting at 1:00 pm. Sunday will set the challenge for x-country riders of all ability levels with races at 9:00 am, 10:30 am and the expert / elite races at 1:00 pm. www.shimano.com
The all new 2003 Shimano XTR Group will make its Canadian demo launch at the race. Shimano Canada has arranged 2003 XTR equipped bikes available to test ride on site.
