Burnaby Velodrome Racing

Weekend Race #1 - a Swap Meet and Open House at the Velodrome, to be held November 8-11, 2002
Come out and participate or watch a variety of events ranging from kilometer time trials and pursuits to many mass start and team events. racing starts at 8:30 PM on Friday evening and runs from 9 AM-5 PM on Saturday and 8:30 AM- 4 PM Sunday. SWap Meet November 9-10
This is the time to sell or swap your old track, road, or mountain bike parts, accessories or clothing OR better yet buy some new ( to you ) gear to further clutter up your storage. Swap meet will run from 9-5 on both Saturday and Sunday. See Bob Thom at the track for details.
Open House November 11th - 11:00 to 3:00
The Burnaby Velodrome Club will be hosting an open house to introduce cyclists to track racing.
Bikes and instruction from qualified coaches and professional athletes will be provided, free of charge - just bring a helmet and cycling shoes (or runners).
The Burnaby Velodrome is located at 7564 Barnet Highway, Burnaby, B.C. (inside the Harry Jerome Sports Centre on the North side of Burnaby Mountain).

Ontario 'Cross Series Update

Since the Delaware Park Event on Sunday has been cancelled, the series will be decided on points gained in the Aurora, Centennial Park and Warsaw events. OCA medals will be presented to the top three in each qualifying category after this Saturday's event in Warsaw.
