Transocéane Canceled
The organizers of the inaugural Transocéane announced today that the event has been officially canceled. They had hoped to hold the Quebec portion together, but this morning the UCI canceled the sanction, because the event is no longer "international".
The cancellation of the Transocéane comes at a very bad time as many riders were using it as a tune-up for the World Championships in Zolder Belgium in early October.
