Vincent Jourdain Moves On

Merci beaucoup et au revoir!

The following is a short message to announce that on March 30th I will leave my position as a national handisport coach and sports manager at the Bromont national cycling center. New challenges are waiting for me. I would like to thank the different employers that I have worked for in last years who put their confidence in me, especially the Canadian cycling association, la fédération québécoise des sports cyclistes and the Bromont cycling center. I would also like to thank the different disabled sports organisations that I have worked with in the last five years; an excellent relationship has been established with them. Finally, I would like to thank all the athletes that I have worked with and those met on different projects; they have been a great source of pride. Without them and their remarkable performance, our work has no sense. I would like to thank particularly all the athletes from the handisport program. Cycling for disabled athletes is evolving and here to stay, and I'm proud to have been part of that success. It is hard also to forget my fellow coaches, I have become a better coach and learned a lot through their contact.
I wish the best of luck to all in your respective areas and it will be a pleasure for me meet you again on the road.


Un court message pour vous annoncer que le 30 mars prochain, je vais quitter mes fonctions d'entraîneur national handisport et directeur sportif du centre national de cyclisme de Bromont. J'ai décidé de relever de nouveaux défis dans un autre secteur d'activité. Je voudrai remercier mes différents employeurs au fil des dernières années de m'avoir fait confiance, principalement l'association cycliste canadienne, la fédération québécoise des sports cyclistes et le centre de Bromont. Je voudrai remercier également les différentes associations de sports pour personnes handicapés avec qui j'ai établis depuis 5 ans maintenant, une excellente collaboration. Je voudrai surtout finalement remercier tous les athlètes avec qui j'ai travaillé et que j'ai côtoyé, ils ont été pour moi une grande source de fierté. Sans eux et leurs performances incroyable, notre travail n'aurait aucun sens. Je voudrai remercier plus particulièrement tous les athlètes du programme handisport. Le cyclisme handisport est là pour rester et grandir, et je suis fière d'avoir contribuer à son développement. Comment ne pas nommer et saluer tous mes collègues entraîneurs. Grâce à leur contact, j'ai appris beaucoup et j'ai pu devenir l'entraîneur que je suis.
Je souhaite bonne chance à tous le monde dans leurs domaines respectifs et au plaisir de se rencontrer sur la route.
