Road Nationals Request

The Road Nationals is in need of a few experienced motorcycle drivers for this Friday (Time Trials) and/or Sunday (Road Races). Drivers with or without their own bikes are asked to contact Competition Coordinator Ed Arzouian at ed.arzouian@hamilton2003.com

Steve Bauer is part of a group trying to organize a mass participation ride to kick off the Worlds in Hamilton. The event would take place on the Sunday before the start of the Worlds (October 5th), and would allow riders to actually ride the Worlds course for 3 hours. Each participant would receive a t-shirt and refreshments, and funds raised through the entry fee would go towards the Rotary Club Wellness Centre.

There is only one problem: some local councillors are against the idea, and it may not receive city council approval. Bauer goes before the committee this evening. We want to give him some ammunition regarding the number of participants who would sign up for such an event, so please register your approval Here
