The Multi-Laser Cycling Grand Prix Kicks into High Gear Gananoque, ON
Here they come again! Cyclists and spectators alike will flood the streets of Gananoque, Ontario for the 4th Annual Multi-Laser Cycling Grand Prix, set for September 6th & 7th
Last year more than 150 elite cyclists from across Canada and the United States competed for $5,000.00 in cash and an equivalent in merchandise prizes, including the winner Charles Dionne who used the 2002 race as a tune-up for his breakthrough victory in San Francisco.
The increased cash prize list of $7000.00 - featuring a $2000 first prize for the elite men, the inclusion of the Multi-Laser Grand Prix as the finale of the Maxxis UNYCC Summer Series (www.spokepost.com) and the additions of VIP and media viewing and hospitality areas which include a Multi-Laser Race helicopter and follow vehicles ensure the impact of the Multi-Laser Grand Prix will exceed the spectacle of 2002!
The 2003 Multi-Laser Grand Prix is guaranteed to be a race that can not be missed - if you only do one race in 2003 make it the Multi-Laser Grand Prix!
Set in the beautiful town of Gananoque, in the heart of the Thousand Islands Tourist Region, this race is organized by racers for racers. Bring your families and friends to reward them for a summer spent racing. With everything within an easy walk of race headquarters, in between races spectators can, shop, watch a play, take a boat cruise or spend some time at the casino. This is a great weekend for everyone.
Multi-Laser is pleased to announce that a portion of the registration fee, race winnings from team Multi-Laser and a Corporation contribution from Multi-Laser Inc., will be donated to the Kingston Regional Cancer Centre - Pediatric Unit. The Grand Prix has previously raised over $10,000.00 for the KRCC.
