Ontario Vet Injured
Desi Derochers, one of the most competitive road racing veterans in in Canada was injured yesterday in the Ziggy‚s Hidden Valley road race in Kitchener, Ontario. It appears that Desi suffered multiple injuries after going down in a crash after touching wheels with another rider and sliding across the road into the curb. Among the reported injuries are a punctured lung, broken rib and collarbone, and facial injuries. Desi has been hospitalized at St Marys Hospital in Kitchener.
