It is about 30 minutes to the start of the Downhill Qualifying for the World Cup Final in Kaprun. So far, everyone is cautiously optimistic - it is still very wet, but at least it isn't raining! The forecast calls for intermittent showers until this afternoon, then clearing up gradually.
The 4-Cross is now scheduled for this evening, with the Finals taking place between 5:30 and 6:30 pm local time (11:30 am - 12:30 pm EDT).
