For those not attending the National Cyclocross Championships in Vancouver, Canadian Cyclist will be supplying full coverage. Our coverage of the 2003 Cyclocross Championships is sponsored by FACT Canada
For those who need to get their fix by actually racing, there are events some local events.

Information:
When : Sunday November 9th
Where : Dieppe Rotary Park (Velodrome)
Registration : 9:00 am at the Cycling Center Building (Next to the Velodrome)
practice:course will be open at 9h30
start times :
1) 10h30am -- Fun Race (20 minutes +1 lap)
2) 11:00am -- Competitiva race (40 minutes +1 lap)
Cost: 5$ for licenced riders and 20 for non licensed riders. The 20$ is for the day license. We will not charge the extra 5$ for non-license riders.
Sanction: This is a VELONB sanctioned event. there will also be a Clinic held by Luc Arsenault (coach for the Atlantic Cycling Center) at 10:00am
Note :All funds raised will be used for draw prizes, based on turnout may have some small prizes for the podiums
OCA Welcomes Two New Development Committee Members

The Ontario Cycling Association is pleased to welcome Doug Pogue and Roger Curtis as the newest members of our Development Committee.
Doug Pogue was recently elected by his colleagues for the position of Road Provincial Chief Commissaire. As such, Doug will represent the Ontario College of Commissaires on the Development Committee. Doug is currently a National level commissaire, a level 3 road coach, a timing coordinator and a former senior 1/2 racer. Over the past two years Doug has worked at the Provincial Time Trial, Provincial Criterium, Provincial Road Race, the National Championships (twice), the World Championships as well as numerous Ontario Cups and Regional events.
Roger Curtis will be volunteering his services as the Road Athlete Rep on the Development Committee. As a level 2 road coach, Roger has coached/managed athletes at OCA High Performance Projects such as Abititi and Alma. Athletes with concerns, questions and/or comments can contact Roger at curtisr@limestone.on.ca or 613-374-5700.
