Teams Alessio-Bianchi (ITA), Milaneza Maia (POR) and US Postal Service presented by Berry Floor (USA) have presented the required precisions, and the Professional Cycling Council (PCC) has proceeded to their registration as TT/I for the 2004 season.

On the basis of the complement of information given to the UCI since the 22nd of December 2003, and following the advice given by Ernst&Young, the PCC could not accept the registration of Domina-Vacanze (ITA) and Kelme (ESP) as TTI for 2004.

If these TT's fill the conditions as required by the UCI rules and regulations by January 15th 2004, they will be registered as TTII.
In accordance with the UCI Regulations, in order to reach the total number of 30 TT/I, the teams Palmans-Collstrop (BEL) and Relax-Bodysol (ESP), are registered as TT/I for the 2004 season.

Giant's Goss at School Bike Camps
Courtesy Giant Canada

Giant Canada's Eric Goss is currently involved in New Brunswick's School District bike camps.

So far, with great success, two separate bike camps have already been run. Eric spearheaded the program along with some other cyclists while they worked in cooperation with the School System. The bike camps involve kids within the 12-16 year old age group and focus on safety, skills, fitness, technology and repairs . . . along with Eric handing out hundreds of Giant Bicycles stickers to all the kids. There is also a classroom power-point presentation during the beginning of the camp, but the real finale is when the kids get to ride the trails with the pro riders for the last hour of the day!

In the next few days Eric will be attending some further meetings to finalize some more winter projects he will be involved in.

The next School District bike camp is set for this coming January 24th.

Happy Birthday To...

Eric Wohlberg and Sylvie Allen, both yesterday.
