Employment Opportunity at Chico Racing
Good, reliable worker from mid-April until September required for position with Chico Racing Event Management. Hours average about 45 hours per week and work on event weekends.

Chico Racing, Ontario's foremost authority on mountain bike race promotions is entering its 10th year. Having incurred steady growth since its inception, Chico Racing continually strives to present a better product to its loyal customer base while maintaining a friendly atmosphere.
From running 6 competitive Ontario Cup races, to weekly series and our marquee event, the 24 hours of Summer Solstice, Chico Racing reaches mountain bikers of all ability levels. Our dynamic customer base and heavy schedule throughout the spring and summer months make it an excellent opportunity to hone one's public relations skills, perform numerous office tasks, and come event weekend get the hands a little
dirty.
What Chico Racing needs from you:
Personable, hard-working, organized and familiar with today's administrative duties. Tasks that will be required of you will start with several days a week in the office performing tasks including:
 Database entry.
 Answering phone calls/emails.
 Various other computer related duties and knowledge of Access, Word, and Excel preferred.
 Organizing volunteers, event services, and paperwork.
In addition to the above, on event weekends duties to be performed will include:
 Site preparation.
 Some course set-up.
 Possible timing at some events.
 Event clean-up.

Those with experience mountain biking, and access to their own transportation, would be preferred. Only those considered for the position will be contacted and we will make a decision by early April 2004. The office location is in Uxbridge, Ontario.
