Stage 3

1 Ivan Dominguez (Colavita Olive Oil Pro Cycling)
2 Danny Pate (Health Net/Maxxis)
3 Cesar Grajales (Jittery Joe's Coffee)
4 Kevin Bouchard-Hall (U23 National Team)
5 Chris Horner (Webcor)
The big news in today's men's road race was that Chris Horner didn't win...
A break of 5 got away - Mike Sayers (Health Net/Maxxis), Kevin Bouchard-Hall (U23 National Team), Danny Pate (Health Net/Maxxis), Alex Candelario (Jelly Belly-Aramark), Ivan Dominguez (Colavita Olive Oil Pro Cycling) - and by the fourth lap the lead was 2:40. Horner had nothing to worry about, since Sayers was highest placed, but over ten minutes down. Webcor went to the front before the final climb, and brought the gap down considerably, and then Horner jumped on the climb. The race leader caught the remnants of the break, as did Cesar Grajales (Jittery Joe's Coffee), second overall. After that, Horner sat on, content to let the others fight it out for the stage win.
