National Team for MTB Worlds

The CCA will tentatively finalize the team for the 2004 MTB World Championships in Les Gets France by the end of next week (barring appeals).

The weekend's Canada Cup may determine a few spots that remain.

Kris Westwood will be coordinating a HPC conference call in the middle of next week to finalize the MTB Worlds team.


Cycling Scholarship for Brandon Crichton

Brandon Crichton ( Espoir) has accepted a scholarship in cycling from Midwest State University in Wichita Falls, Texas.

MSU is located in the northern part of Texas approx. 1 hour NW of Dallas and an hour south of Oklahoma City, OK.

He will study for a 4 year Business / Economics degree. Brandon is looking forward to the opportunity to train and compete in a climate that does not have the cold and snow.

This environment should help prepare him for next season with Gears Racing and the 2005 race season.
