Bonham & Co. Steps down as Title Sponsor of Ontario Mountain Bike Series

The OCA and Chico Racing would like to thank Mark Bonham for the generous title sponsorship of the Ontario Cup Mountain Bike Series for the past three years. The backing received since 2002 helped grow the series into the strong race program it is today. Meeting the needs of recreational youth, enthusiastic masters, and aspiring cyclists, the Ontario Cup Series is responsible for developing Ontario's athletes into Olympic hopefuls.

Adam Ruppel of Chico Racing stated, "Bonham & Co. was a great supporter of the series. Just like any sponsorship, it was time to move on...but they may still remain involved at a lower level." Steve Merker from the OCA echoed those feelings; "We are grateful to have had the support of Mark Bonham over the years. Chico Racing and the OCA are committed to continuing the series at the high level it's been operating at since 2002. In fact, we hope to announce the 2005 schedule within a week. New sponsor partners will be pursued over the next several months."

The Ontario Cup consists of seven cross-country mountain bike races, as well as short track and downhill racing, taking place at venues across Ontario. There are many different types of sponsorship opportunities for business or individuals interested in supporting Canada's largest provincial mountain bike series.
