Burnaby Track Trials
The CCA is still in the process of conducting some final endurance event trials for the upcoming Los Angeles Track World Cup, however, this is what we have learned of the team composition so far. The athletes are pretty well finalized, but some of the events that they will compete in still need to be decided. So far, the team looks to be:
Lori-Ann Muenzer - 500M Time Trial and Sprint
Mandy Poitras - Scratch and Points Races
Matt Chater - Keirin and Team Sprint substitute
Zach Bell - Points Race, Individual Pursuit (tentative) and Madison (tentative)
Gina Grain - Scratch Race
Yannick Morin - Team Sprint (starter)
Cam McKinnon - Team Sprint (middle rider)
Travis Smith - Team Sprint (anchor) and Kilo
Martin Gilbert - Scratch Race, Points Race and Madison (tentative)
Times from the trials have been promised. The Trials had a strong turnout, with 19 riders showing up.
