20th Corporate Partner for Forest City Velodrome

The Forest City Velodrome in London Ontario is pleased to announce that Rudy Project USA has jumped on board to be our 20th Sponsoring Partner.

In preparation for the Opening Night of racing in April, Rudy Project USA banners will be around the Velodrome to promote the "Really Cool Eyewear" from Rudy Project.

The contact with the Corporate offices at Rudy Project were made through Pittsburgh resident Pat Lyons. Mr. Lyons operates a racing team in the Pittsburgh area, and intends to bring his team to the 142m Velodrome in the coming months. Lyons a ex-pro hockey player played his junior hockey with the Windsor Spitfires, he spent many nights playing hockey in the London Gardens where the Velodrome is to be built. Lyons said "we are 6 hours away from London, but I know that the Velodrome will improve the skill level of our riders very quickly". " We look forward to racing against riders from Ontario & Quebec".

Everyone at the Velodrome, are very excited about the developments in South London. The business community in London are asking many questions about the Velodrome and want to find out how they might get involved with the Indoor facility. Many new cycling fans are looking forward to attending races at the track. The Saturday Night Racing which will include regular track league action and Nas-track Madison racing beginning April 16th.
