Miller Wins in Texas
The Jet Fuel Coffee team finished off their stay in Texas with a strong showing at the Coldspring Road Race (Houston) . The team finished 1st, 3rd and 8th.
Buck Miller added another win to his Texas race resume by outsprinting his breakaway companion to win the 120km event. Miller had attacked his 12 man breakaway group with about 10km. Mark Pozniak lead out Zach Bell in the breakaway bunch sprint and Bell recorded his first podium appearance for the team. Mark ended up in 8th.
The Texas crew now moves onto the Jacksonville Cycling Classic in Florida next weekend. The event features a Saturday night twilight criterium and road race on Sunday with $10,000 in prize money over the course of the weekend.

Sunday April 3rd
Pouring down rain, we attacked a single track fiesta in the Surrey Mountain Bike Park, Run By SORCE (surrey, off, road, cycling, ..??) Surry Off Road Cycling Enthusiasts - ed Great Race, All Single Track.
Ryan Edwards (Tantalus Bike Shop) and Neil Kindrey( Giant, Sugoi) of Squamish lead the first two laps ahead of Andreas Hestler Rocky Mountain, Business Objects), Matt Green (Rocky Mountain, Haywood Securities) and Kevin Calhoun (Rocky Mountain, Cupcakes).
After lap three Ryan faded out while Neil make a vicious attack. Matt Cottrel (On the Edge Bike Shop) charged hard almost bridging up. While Matt Green and Kevin Calhoun where fouled by mechanicals.
Lap Four saw Hestler attack Kindree, Ryan held onto third Green looked good but suffered more mechanicals, and Matt Cottrel would sprint it out with Kevin Calhoun (seat practically falling off his bike, who's your mechanic) to finish in fourth spot.

April 2nd
The tandem of Stephen Ferris and Pat Ferris won the Cecil Lake 40 km team time trial, Sunday, with a time of 1:03:10 hours. Mike Hientzman and Roger St. Jean were second at 1:09:25 and Wim Kok/Bob Andrews were third at 1:12:45.
Gary Hilderman and Matt Sparling were 4th at 1:15:30 and Keith Koebel/Ken Nix 5th at 1:17:54. Owen Giebelhaus did 1:25:30.
Ross Garbutt and Gord 'The Hammer' Harris won the 20 km with 36:42. Adam Currie and Oliver Jardine and Lindsay Jardine were second at 49:04.
Coming up next Sunday is Stage #1 of the Spring Stage race at Cecil Lake. It is a 60 km road race at 2 pm.
Pat Ferris and Barb Polehoykie are the defending champions.
