Phoenix Velo Training Group

Best Kept Secret in the Fraser Valley, B.C.!

Every Wed. evening at 6 pm, members sign on for 2 hours of race training and racing. It is becoming more and more popular as word spreads.

First hour is warm up and/or coaching on the Mission Raceway road track. Riders are then divided according to their preference into 3 groups, handicapped according to ability and experience and the race begins. Points are awarded each week for a prize at the end of the season.

The venue is safe even for families on the many paths. The Club really appreciates the use of the facility. It's usually used for drags, motorcycles and car racing but Wed. just happened to be available for the quieter sport of bike racing.

More members are welcome @ $25 or $55 (if not insured) and anyone licenced or otherwise insured may participate as a guest for $5.00. Membership is good for the season Apr to Sept. No program on rainy nights. Info. at pwenting@shaw.ca
