Lincoln Grand Prix Great Britain
Courtesy Andrew Randell
Today was our first race in Europe - the Lincoln Grand Prix in Britain - run on a tough circuit, the main difficulty of which was a cobbled climb. The racing pattern was the opposite to what we had seen last time we were here in 2002 when the race kept splitting and coming back together. In this edition the break of the day went on the second lap, and amazingly the gap kept growing. Behind we were racing to get back, with the peloton in the gutter the whole day. Jet Fuel Cycling's top finisher was Andrew Randell in 17th, the same result he had in 2002.
