BC Time Trial Championships Presented by Team Escape Velocity
BC Provincial TT Championships: August 6, 2005 in Squamish
The race of truth. Contre le montre. An individual test of strength, stamina, and speed. It all returns on August 6th, 2005 in Squamish BC for the 2005 BC Time Trial Championships, presented by Team Escape Velocity.
Test yourself against this popular 38.5km course along the Squamish Valley Road. Better your time from last year or compete for the title of fastest rider in BC. Then once you're done, join us at SunWolf Outdoor Centre for a great wrap-up BBQ and award ceremony.

NEW: Free Camping Available
The popular B.C. Time Trial Championship and BBQ on Saturday, August 6th in Squamish B.C. is excited to announce *free camping at the Sunwolf Outdoor Centre on Friday night* (same location as sign-on). There are also a limited number of cabins available for rental. See what fresh legs will do for you in the race of truth.
After the race: Post TT BBQ, Chief Hike with EV
Escape Velocity will be hosting a light group ride around Squamish after the BBQ Saturday and a climb up the Squamish Chief Sunday morning for those interested in staying through the weekend. For more details and to reserve camping space or a cabin, contact brian.storey@canada.com
Keirin Night at the Forest City Velodrome
After a summer break from racing at the track in London Ontario, Racing returns for the next 4 weeks at the Forest City Velodrome. Saturday August 6th will feature a Japanese style Keirin Competition.
The Keirin event is a sprint competition that has the riders follow a pace bike for the first 3/4 of the race. The riders jockey for position in the first part of the race, with 3 laps to go, the pacer exits the track and the competitors sprint to the finish line. Speeds can exceed 60 kph during the last lap of the race.
In addition to the Keirin, The London Track League will have their usual events running during the evening. Special $100.00 prize to a rider breaks the Lap Record.
The Nas-Track Madison team race will feature teams from the Detroit area ( Velodrome at Bloomer Park) against the Forest City Teams, as many as 7 teams are scheduled to race in the event.
Track opens for warm-ups at 5pm, Spectators are encouraged to come early. General admission seating opens at 5:30 p.m. Admission for adults is $10.00, Seniors $5.00. Children admitted free when accompanied by an adult.
Racing begins at 7pm.
