CCA Announces Second Road Worlds Rider
August 30, 2005 (Ottawa, ON) The Canadian Cycling Association is proud to announce that Michael Barry is the second rider to be nominated to the elite mens team for the 2005 world road championships in Madrid, Spain, on Sept. 25.
Barry, who races for the Discovery Channel Pro Tour team, joins Canadian champion François Parisien, whose selection was announced last week. The third and final spot on the roster will be announced after the Barclays Global Investors Grand Prix in San Francisco on Sept. 4.

Le 30 août 2005 (Ottawa ON) LAssociation cycliste canadienne est fière dannoncer la nomination de Michael Barry sur léquipe élite hommes canadienne pour le championnat du monde sur route, qui aura lieu le 25 septembre à Madrid, en Espagne.
Barry, membre de léquipe Pro Tour Discovery Channel, rejoint alors le champion canadien sur route François Parisien, qui à été sélectionné sur léquipe la semaine dernière. Le troisième et dernier membre de léquipe sera nominé suite au Barclays Global Investors Grand Prix à San Francisco le 4 septembre.
Mazur to Saunier Duval-Prodir
The Polish website sportowefakty.pl is reporting that Peter Mazur (Piotr Mazur) will ride for the Saunier Duval-Prodir team in 2006.
Peter, born in Winnipeg has been living and racing in Europe under a Polish licence for many years.
Gord Fraser Cycling Camp 2005
Professional cyclist and three-time Olympian Gord Fraser will hold his first cycling camp this November 13th 20th in Tucson, Arizona.
In addition to fully supported daily riding with Gord and his Health Net teammate Scott Moninger, this all-inclusive camp will feature Allen Lim of Powertap. Lim, PhD will be on hand for evening presentations and camp rides for group analysis and instruction on power training. All bikes will be outfitted with Powertap wheels with the exclusive option to purchase at the end of camp.
Daily rides will include instruction on technical skills and provide essential training tips. Ideal accommodations, catered meals, massage, and nightly presentations from Gord and other professionals will be featured.
