This coming weekend at the Velodrome promises to be a Record Breaking Challenge. With the help of the All Season's Sports in London, we have put together a program that the Volunteers at the track believe will leave the spectators on the edge of their seats for the entire weekend.

On Friday night at 7pm, the Forest City Velodrome will have each racer attempt to set a track record for the flying lap, The spectators enjoy watching the top speed of our racers. The track record of 8.17 seconds (Zach Bell - Jet Fuel Coffee/Sympatico) is sure to fall. The Velo-Kids will also be going after the quick time in each of their age groups. The Masters will also be given a chance to set the mark in each age group up to age 80 Plus (I will list the categories later).

In addition to the Quickest lap, on each night there will be a full race program of Handicaps, Keirins, Scratch Races, Sprints, Triple Threats, and of course the Nas-Track Madison League will be racing both nights.

Racing begins, Friday September 23rd & Saturday September 24th at 7pm. Track will be open at 5pm for race warm-up and for out of town riders we recommend that you come early to get comfortable on the boards.

Admission is $10.00 for adults, Seniors $5.00, Kids under 12 are Free.

The website has been updated with all of our ride times for the coming months, check out www.ForestCityVelodrome.ca for up to date information.

Our Velodrome & riders are currently being seen (not seen) in a Purolator commercial, very cool.
