Velocity Cycling Club presents the 2005 Velocity 'Cross Saturday, October 8, 2005, at the Argyll Velodrome in Edmonton. The velodrome is located at 6850 - 88 Street, Edmonton, Alberta. The course uses the beautiful Mill Creek Ravine to create a fast, traditional cyclocross course. Registration closes 30 minutes prior to start time for each category. Entry fee is $25. The schedule is as follows:
Expert Male - 10:00 am (45 minutes)
Sport Male - 11:00 am (45 minutes)
Open Women - 11:01 am (45 minutes)
Elite Male - 12:00 pm (60 minutes)
Mountain bikes are allowed in the Sport Men and Open Women categories.
Post-race refreshments will be available. Prizes will be awarded in each category after the completion of the Elite Men race.
Come for the race and stay for the doubleheader on Sunday, presented by United Cycle.

Octoberfest Challenge `Cross Cedervale Park, Toronto
Request for assistance
I fell off in the cross Sunday and have not full memory from the crash untill the time the paramedic arrived.
I am trying to find a racer in a plain blue jersey who went down before me to thank him for helping me out and also to get info on my condition immediately after the crash. FYI, I am scraped a bit but back to work today and feeling fine.
Can anyone help me find him?
