OBC Seeking Coach
Courtesy Michael DeKelver, Racing Director, Ottawa Bicycle Club
The Ottawa Bicycle Club seeks to hire road coaching staff for a new, expanded development program.
1) Head Coach: Candidates would have NCCP Level 2 or 3 Road certification and experience in delivering coaching programs to both groups and individuals. Responsibilities would be to deliver a coaching program to both male and female youth and elite athletes. This position will report to the racing director of the Ottawa Bicycle Club. Expenses and honourarium paid will vary with program proposals and scope.
2) Assistant Coach(es): Candidates should have NCCP Level 1 Road or be eligible for certification. The opportunity to work with groups and individuals under the supervision of an accredited head coach would build your capacity and practical experience to continue to higher levels of NCCP certification. Direct expenses in your development and program delivery will be reimbursed.
Please submit a short resume with your coaching certification, experience, and a brief program proposal. All inquiries are welcome.
