Come ride with Team Soliton for a worthy cause. On Sunday December 4th, join us in a Toy/Food drive to benefit the Lower Mainland Christmas Bureau and the Greater Vancouver Food Banks.

We would all agree the Lower Mainland is a pretty good place to live. The coming holiday season brings families together for good food and good times, and we want to extend this experience to those less fortunate.

Bring an unwrapped gift and/or food item to the drop off area at Locarno (see below), and join the Peleton for a short loop around UBC. Don't forget that the kids are of all ages 1-15

Where: Jericho Beach Parking lot by the youth hostel on Discovery.
Look for the blue tents and drop off area.

When: 9:00 am on Sunday, December 4th

Drop your name in the barrel for a Karma Metal Works Titanium Ring (1 only). Team photos will be taken for the hall of fame on our website.

Can't make it to the event? You can drop off donations to La Bicicletta on Saturday December 3rd between noon and closing. A table will be set up with a Soliton member attending.

Let's show the people of the Lower Mainland that we care about families.

Flyer (pdf format) includes map.

Going into 2006 Team Victory Brewing is excited to announce its final roster lead by Great Britain's Rachel Heal. Rachel comes to race a full season in the US after being team leader of 2004 Team SATS from Denmark. Team schedule will be focusing on US National Race Calendar along with a couple of World Cups. Visit www.victorycycling.com for full details.

Catching up with Rachel: "I'm really excited about joining the Victory Brewing team for 2006, having guested for them in 2005 I know" and like how the team operates. The team runs on a really friendly basis, but it's professional and everyone gives 100% commitment to get the best results possible. Also racing a full US season will be a new challenge for me as I've raced mainly in Europe for the past 5 years, but it's a challenge I'm really looking forward to getting stuck in to. Being English, the Commonwealth games are a big target for me next year, but with the training I've done to get to good form in March I should hit the US racing already flying, so I'll be hoping for some good results in the early races."

Full Roster Includes:
Rachel Heal (Great Britain)
Chrissy Ruiter (USA)
Lauren Franges (USA)

Kate Sherwin (USA)
Laura Bowles (USA)
Brenda Lyons (USA)
