Denise Kelly Gains Level 4 Coaching Diploma
Courtesy NCCH
Congratulations to Denise Kelly, one of our NCCH (National Cycling Centre Hamilton) coaches who has graduated from the 2 year diploma program (Level 4) at the National Coaching Institute - Ontario.
Denise has worked extensively with the youth of our sport, volunteering countless hours to provincial and national team projects, including last year's Canada Summer Games. She is a leader, and guides athletes to give their best performances in daily training, racing and in life situations. Denise conveys constant encouragement and constructive feedback. She keeps her athletes on the right track with a positive state of mind.
Denise has a passion for our sport of cycling, and works very closely with all athletes that she coaches throughout the province. She instills confidence in her athletes, and guides them in their pursuits. Many life and sporting successes are made with athletes who have the opportunity to work with Denise.
Denise has also been recently named Provincial Team Road Coach for 2006, so she will have the opportunity to work with many of our provinces top athletes.
Denise is now one of 23 female level 4 coaches across the nation. She would like to thank the NCCH athletes for their support, inspiration and encouragement. A big thank you also goes out to Neil Ross who acted as Denise's mentor coach throughout the entire process. Congratulations Denise! We appreciate your support and dedication to our sport.
