Ontario Health Promotion Roundtable

The Ministry of Health Promotion will be holding a series of roundtable meetings across Ontario in late January, early February to discuss health promotion and the new Ministry's role in promoting health and wellness throughout Ontario.
The Ministry is planning visits to the following areas:
Kingston
London
Mississauga
North Bay
Ottawa
Toronto
Sault Ste. Marie
Thunder Bay
Windsor
The Ministry would like to engage local stakeholders in the preliminary strategic thinking of the Ministry of Health Promotion and learn about local opportunities, gaps, challenges and success stories.

Charity Spinning Classes at Epic Cycling
Epic Cycling and the OCA's Jamie Beblow will be hosting an evening of Spinning Classes to benefit the Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Toronto on Friday January 20, 2006 beginning at 6:30pm with the last class starting at 8:30pm.
Jamie Beblow will be racing in the Temple to Temple 7 day 750km race in Belize from January 29-February 4, 2006 in support of the Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Toronto.
The purpose of him doing the race is to raise $10 for every kilometre he travels totalling $7,500, which will be donated to the Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Toronto after the conclusion of the race.
In an effort to raise this money a night of spinning classes will be held at Epic Cycling in Toronto.
Location: 1767 Queen St. East (West of Woodbine on the south side)
When: Friday January 20, 2006
Class #1 - 6:30pm
Class #2 - 7:00pm
Class #3 - 7:30pm
Class #4 - 8:00pm
Cost: The cost of the event is free with a minimum donation of $30, which will be donated to the Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Toronto.
Registration Deadline: January 18, 2006
Also 15% from all purchases of apparel, accessories and gear during the evening go directly to support the Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Toronto.
Light refreshments and door prizes will be available throughout the evening.
