3rd Annual Dizzy Chicks Bike Swap
Courtesy Cycling B.C.
A great opportunity for spring cleaning for some and spring bargains for others. All cycling disciplines welcome. The big event will be held at the Burnaby Velodrome on Wednesday, February 15, 2006 from 5-10pm.
While shopping for bargains you can also check out some very exciting track racing that takes place on Wednesday evenings. If you are interested in selling your goods, tables rent for $30.00/each.

Mountain Bike & Music Festival
My name is Sue Bugow. I am one of the owners of M&M Indiefest. I am calling all Independent Musicians and Independent Mountain Bike Cyclists. We have decided to put together this annual summer event to introduce more social gatherings. No more, "Mom, I'm bored!" Take them where they can camp, listen to live music and ride their mountain bikes in competition. We are purely for fun, aside from the list of prizes that may be won at the end of the summer during Labor Day Weekend, not too mention the finals of the Independent Battle of the Bands! We need cyclists who love to camp and we need bands who can rough it and still put on a great performance.
The Cost to all this Lovely Getaway. As I said, I want it to run all summer. It's only fair that there are set prices for each that we are offering.
1. Full Summer/Full Pass....15weeks.................$995.00
2. Full Weekend Pass...........Fri/Sat/Sun.............$95.00
3. Camping Site...................Per Weekend............$40.00
4. Camping Site...................Per Week................$100.00
5. Music Site.......................Per Day.....................$25.00
6. Mountain Bike Trails.........Per Day....................$25.00
This does not include your food for the weekend although we will have a vendor on the premises.
We are trying to obtain as much sponsorship as possible as we, the owners and operators of the event, are first timers. This is the First Annual Music and Mountain Bike Indiefest.
We are on 81 acres, surrounded by more than 1000 acres of crown land. The beautiful landscape includes a Beaver Pond and tons of rocky landscape.
